I know that everyone here has one and is totally laughing at me, now. I just got a Hyperion Emeter. It has all of the motor measurment toys in one very small pacage. Photo tach, voltage and amperage measured off of a small shunt that is conected with Deans connecters between the battery and the ESC. 20 amp and 100 amp max shunts are availiable. Sorry to yell here a bit...
ONE BUTTON CAPTURES THE DATA!
It is calibrateable to make up for minor differeces in shunt manufacture
(mine seems pretty dead on out of the box). Prop constants can be programmed in for readings that include efficiency. It can be connected to the PC for further use of the 5 captured data sets.
It has programming for use as a battery charge monitor. It opperates on 6 to 20 nicad or 2 to 6 lipos for recharging its battery and can be used for measurments with packs up to 60 volts
Right now it is folding my laundry... er, no its not... and my wife is looking sternly at me.
