Anybody know of a good book on brushless motor theory that is usable to calculate motor the performance of our brushless outrunners?

I want to get my math streightened out so I can start on a my own motor calculator. I know Jay has done one, but I want to start from a different point of view.

Yeah, as Lucien if you can move in with him for a week... He seems to be the Mr. Miyagi of brushless theory. :P

There were a couple of books listed on Amazon that had decent reviews. Kind of pricey unless you are really interested. If you get either of them, I hope you let us know what you think of them.

I checked Amazon and found these books too. The price did scare me a bit indeed. I should have mentioned these in my^post above.

Maybe I should rephrase my question into
Does anybody know of a few good sites on motor theory that are applicable to our motors? The sites I keep getting on Google are pretty useless and about big AC motors or steppers.
