Jay and I have been discussing motor calculators in the last couple of weeks. (it was more like Jay telling me how he did it though)
Our major discussion was on what to input and what to calculate. I'd like to open up a discussion to see what you guys are looking for in a calculator. What data you want to (or can) input and want to get out of it .

The calculator Jay made starts with a specific prop and power info and calculates the motor and it's specs from that. Is this what you guys want?
Is there any other output you want or need?

I've allready used the new motor calculater and I like it. But it would be nice to be able to enter the prop size, windings, voltage, and # of stators. And get the Amps and RPM out of the calculator. I also need a 6X4 and smaller props like 4.75X4.75. I realy like the Delta and Y outputs!

Thank You

That's what I was thinking too and the reason for my post.

I was also thinking about generating a list of results by letting one or two values varie between two values. That will quickly give the result you are after. Motocalc does it this way and I like this a lot.
