Hey Gang, While messing around with some CAD drawings I discovered, if I'm correct, that with a 25 mm (12 leg) stator using (16) 5x5x1.5 magnets, The flux ring diameter would have the magnets touching each other or at least so close that we can call it that. I think the wind would be ABC. No? Is this something that would work well? Would you reverse every other magnet or a combinnation of pairs?

Thanks

Correct, ABCABC etc
Touching magnets will give lower flux, higher rpm, less torque.

Reversing every magnet is standard, you end up with 16magnetpoles, lower rpm, high torque. Reversing pairs will give you effectively 8 magnetpoles (each pole consisting of two magnets), higher rpm, lower torque.
