Hi!!

I am very new at this kind of motors so I need a little help.

I will fly 3d aircraft with this motor, I will fly with 2c lipo and my question is:

1. what sort of wire should I use? (material, diameter, where can I get it)
2. How many windes per "tooth"?
3.what for magnets?

Download the tutorial (on the gobrushless homepage). It answers all your questions.

You will need to find out the number of winds from the manual. That really depends on the application. Note that you can wind the stator nodes clockwise and counterclockwise. Ths depends on the number of magnets you will use. If you use the standard 12 magnet configuration you can just wind them all in a clockwise direction (looking from the outside towards the inside of the stator) with a ABCABCABC configuration. The tutorial explains this beautifully.
The wires can be hooked up in a delta (triangle) or Y configuration. Delta winding gives more toque on less lindings, lower current and higher voltage. Y winding gives a higher rotation speed with more windings, higher current and lower voltage. Most people go for a delta wind.
As for the number of winds, you will have to experiment. It's pretty easy to change the windings. I think a 15 wind will not be far off. More winds = more torque (bigger prop), less winds = more speed (small prop).
The main rule is to try to get as much copper on the nodes as possible. I use a double wire wind to be able to get more copper on the node.
